A TikToker claiming to work at McDonald’s has revealed some secrets about the breakfast of one of the world’s largest fast-food chains, which serves more than 65 million people every day.

In the video posted on the social media platform, the woman narrates what she finds in different areas of her workplace. “Have you ever made pancakes?” she asks as she pulls out a stack of pancakes wrapped in transparent packaging. “They do nothing but heat them up,” she adds. And she goes on to give an overview of the processed and pre-packaged morning snacks.
What is shocking is that everything, absolutely everything, is packaged in plastic; nothing is fresh, the food is only heated to be served. Pancakes, burrito fillings, even the eggs, all in packages stacked in boxes and on shelves.
